I just got my first ever cellphone a month ago. So I'm kinda new with all of the features. I know how to text and all that stuff, and I am tech savvy. I just like to learn what to do beforehand, instead of blindly jumping in.
Ok, can anyone explain if a mobile phone can access a hotmail account, a google, account, or anything like that? Or does an email account have to be created specifically for that phone? Can anyone explain other features that would be good for RE business? Can everything that is done on regular internet can be done on mobile internet?
Thanks!

Hi RENinja,
I have my HTC set up so whenever I receive my Monday Call fm DG, it plays a special melody. I receive constant alerts when I received mail from the hotmail and gmail accounts as well.
But what I like the most are the apps that allow me to pull up Trulia as well as other real estate sites while on the go. Suppose I want to look at a property and I want to see what rental properties are near by, what sold props are near by, etc., I can do all this from my phone by touching an icon.
I'm sure there are many other applications available, but I think the ideal mobile device is the iPad. There is a wealth of apps and new ones being developed to aid the investor on the go.
Explore and you'll be amazed at what you can do.

What kind of phone do you have?
I have a net10 samsung, t310 I think its called. It has a web browser. Its a slidephone, its not touch or anything.

I think a "smartphone" is a great investment for any person who is getting started with real estate investing.![Smiling Smiling](http://mail.deangraziosi.com/modules/smileys/packs/example/smile.png)
Here are a few reasons why.
- I can send and receive texts from anywhere
- I can take, email, or text pictures or videos directly from the camera from the property I am looking at. This is a great feature to show pictures and videos to your potential buyers/investors.
- I can manage and maintain multiple email accounts from hotmail, google, yahoo, as well as microsoft exchange. This means I am ALWAYS tied in to everyone important.
- It has GPS features that help me to find properties when I'm on the road.
- It has really cool free apps (programs) that allow me to look at neighborhoods and see home prices and to demographic research as I am standing in a new neighborhood. trulia is my favorite iPhone app that I use.
I have been using an iphone since they came out. I finally got one for my wife too. She was reluctant at first. I told her to try it for a week and if she didn't love it, I would take it back. Let's just say that she has told me that I could have it back.......... when I pry it from her cold, dead, hand......
They are great and well worth the investment.
Happy investing.
Thats a good idea, but occasional yardwork for neighbors doesn't really support or pay for an iphone, lol.
After I do a couple of deals, I think I will set myself up with one. I really want to be able to get to my hotmail acct on the go.
Thanks for the suggestion!
