I am not sure about buying,

But I know that property management companies own properties and manage them, themselves. The company might be owned by an investor who buys through that company name, and then just has his company manage the property. That is something to look out for, you might be competing against the property management company you are hiring.

Cool because I'm calling "For Rent" ads looking for buyers and I got the answering machine to a property management company. Maybe I should ask for the owner of the company.
