rei clubs and negativity

I just went to my first rei meeting today but its more of a landlords association. And what dean said on his blog for oct 23 was true about negativity. Well anyway i dont drive a car cuzz im phobic and one of the members of the aasociation knows this cuzz hes the one that i completed my paperwork with to join the association. The moment i sit down the guy says did u get ur license yet and i said im working on it. Then he says u cant be an investor if u dont drive. I cant got really angry but didnt let my anger get the best of me. I know it would help if i have a license and im working on it but i dont have ythat stop that from pursuing my goals and dreams in real estate. I told that to him to. The guy dosent know nothing about dean or his strategies. I tried telling him about a lease option with a sandwhich lease and he says none of us to that here. And none of the investors are really looking to buy property only sell so i really couldnt create a buyers list either. What should i do the next meeting and what should i say to these people if they just seem so opposive towards me and my goals? Please need some advice

them a house that cash flows for them to rent out. You assign the deal to them, they stay landlords and collect rents.

Well...

Does this guy wanna sit around complaining he can't do this or that, or does he wanna get off of his chair and make some money, lol. You can't do both.
Oertelaj, I agree with Mike, if these guys are good buyers, bring them good deals and get out of there as quick as possible with your check. Have you looked for any DG members in your area? If you can't find any, I know what your feeling. There doesn't seem to be a single DG member in Louisiana.
Stick around positive people, if you can't find any, we still got your back on that Smiling.
Good luck!
