You need to be your biggest fan! If you don't believe in yourself how can you expect anyone else to. "Be...Believe...Become" it is all in your mind set. I have dreamed of working on deals with a certain person here in my town. He employs hundreds of local people. Recently, one of the major players called me to see if I could make contact with 3 potential property owners that they are interested in purchasing their properties. Of the 3... 1 is interested. Yesterday @ 3:45 PM the "man himself" who owns everything and employs everyone left a message on my phone that he is interested in seeing this property today if possible! I have set everything up for 12:10 today when the place closes for lunch. So not to alert any of the employees...OMG this is so James Bond! Up to this point the potential seller did not know who I was representing. This morning when I called to set it up...I told him who the potential buyer is...the funny thing is you only need to say this person's 1st name! It's like GOD or something. This is a potential 5M commercial deal. If I didn't BELIEVE I could be working on a deal of this magnitude it wouldn't be happening. By the way...I do have a RE license, my RE office just closed and my license is with the state. The property is not listed with anyone and since it is commercial the contracts will be handled by lawyers. I am doing this as an Investor bringing these parties together. How cool is that! This would be my 1st deal in this realm! Wish me luck!
