I always use my on Email instead of CL mail

Thank you guys for your help. Just plan-e I think I realize now that it should just come to the email that I have on file with CL and not the one that is anonymized for the site. Hope this is right. I will get a new e-mail just for this. Thank you all!

When you go to Craigslist, on the left hand side of the page that opens you will see the Craigslist name at the top, directly below it you will have 3 other categories you can go to. The second choice oughta be ( My Account.)
Go to it, type in your User name and password and that should take you right to your ad.
Craigslist also strongly advises people running their ads on their websites, not to use their personal phone numbers. Of the few times I have, I can tell you I'd never make that mistake again. That, for some reason opens you up to spam mail neither you or Craigslist can get rid of.
I used my personal e-mail address once, last November and somebody decided to use my address as their own personal used car sales web-site that seems to move from city to city every week.
Craigslist told me there was nothing they could do to help, which is one of the reasons they strongly advise against using any personal information.
Let them screen out the spammers, otherwise you are S,O,L.

Thank you Dino! I almost used my phone number and was thinking it was advised against. Thank you so much for your post!! So you'd also advise against a personal e-mail as well; especially one you are using for the business right?
