Comfort Zone = Kill Zone

Comfort Zone = Kill Zone

I think outside of the excuses of time and money, fear is a closer runner (or at least a popular thread).

Which is the reason I felt lead to post this. We all must realize that everything was scary, unfamiliar, uncertain, ackward until we get use to it, until we experience or do it.

We all have to ask ourselves the question "Do we seriously want a change or do we just like hearing ourselves talk about a change?"

Think about this: our outter world is a direct reflection of our inner world. Your 'fruits' will never exceed your growth.

Tell me honestly how can we possibly walk in to door, greeted by our loved ones....our children our spouses, significant others, etc....and look them in the eye and say "sorry sweetie, you're just not worth it?" It was too scary, it was too hard, they told me no, I didn't get that property I made one offer on" Well as hard or silly as that sounds, that is EXACTLY what we do everytime we don't stretch ourselves to do that which is uncomfortable. We ONLY grow outside our comfort zone.

I don't care if you can recite your strategies, the material you've studied or your contracts. If you don't work on yourself, stregthen your mind, take captive your thoughts, master yourself...none of it matters if you never do anything with it.

There is a difference between positive thoughts and power thoughts.

An extremely success mentor told me one time, the difference between weathly and poor. No, other than their net worth....it's their thought process. It's not that weathly people don't ever get nervous or scared, it's that they CHOOSE to ACT inspite of the fear or anxiety. He said "if you're not completely happy, with as much money as you desire, then there is something you don't know." Study the rich, do what they do and you can have what they have. No one was birthed with financial excellence, they LEARNED & EARNED it!

Millions of people die (to self) each year because they CHOSE and REFUSE to step outside their comfort zones therefore killing their chances of a better life. Don't be a statistic.

Instead of associating the apprehension with a negative feeling in your mind....the next time you get that OMG, I think I'm going to be sick feeling when faced with something uncomfortable; instead of strinking and giving into it.....Yell Out: "Whhoooohooo I'M GROWING!!!"
Change your state. Change what your linking pain and pleasure with in your mind. Just do it, may just be surprised of the outcome. I'd also encourage you to be aware and concious of your 'self-talk'. We've had years and years of negative implanted, start today cancelling those thoughts, calling them out and replacing with empowering self-talk.

As Dean says "Our reality is only our perception of it" SOOO SOOO TRUE!

Or as Carol says "Drag fear with you" do it anyway!

God bless,
Jen

Great post!

Jen,

I agree with you 100%.

A lot of people "talk about change" because it makes them feel better for a little while.

They can sit there and say, "I am doing something about my situation..." But in reality... they are just lying to themselves.

Anyone can do Real Estate, but not everyone can control their mind enough to make the changes required in order to be successful at real estate.

thanks guys...

and that's was my point. Once we get ourselves under control and out of the way, there's nothing left but the task (the work). We have the steps to take in front of us.

Everyday we wake up, we get another chance. We can CHOOSE to be the person we WANT to be.

Any changes we want to see externally must first take place internally.

take action = change your life!

just follow the steps that have been tested and proven to work.

You have to schedule change!

NOTHING will change until you take action!

Work as if your life depended on it.....because it does!
