any similar system in Illinois. The politicians there are so busy with their corruption they haven't had any time to help the citizenry. LOL

Lol. ACRIS is unique, I use it all the time, but I've found some states provide even more info with their online systems. ACRIS, unless you go to County Clerk's, will only give you info based on the tax map id, so you have to call the assessor when you're chasing down recent sales. Anyway, use www.netronline.com to find the local state's online data base if it's available. It is mentioned in a sticky in one of these other threads. Try searching it in the search bar. You'll get better instructions, but the site is pretty straight forward and I've used it to get accurate info for four different states.
Good luck!
Take care,
Chad.

I agree about you use of netronline.com to find county databases. There are so many databases online that we have stopped buying in counties that aren't online as it is too expensive and time consuming to do research the old fashion way anymore.

Thank you guys! I really appreciate it!
That's a good point, your last sentence! I was looking into a deal in another county recently, but all of their database was subscription only, so that was the end of that deal for me There are just too many other counties and parishes available with actual data there for the browsing!
