Pros & Cons to geting a Real Estate license as an Investor?

I've been contemplating getting my real estate license. I have no intention of acting in the traditional role of an agent. I'm just thinking it would be great to be able to access the real MLS and do my own comps, get Realist reports and list my own properties. I've heard there are some legal issues that could prove to be a problem for an investor who also has a real estate agent license. Any wisdom here would be appreciated.

Hi Gena,

If your intent is just to use the MLS, you can team up with an agent and use their access. I have access from 2 different agents. All you have to do is ask.
