Having problems finding homes to assign. In this market that should be unheard of. Have limited response with Expired Listings. Got the 1 800 Number, ran ads in the newspaper, put out bandit signs & flyers that produced about 400 foreclosure help calls, all but one have hung up and his house was upside down. Thought I would make offers on homes on the market. Agent says I need a "real" deposit check not a copy of one, and if the deal is ratified it will be cashed, along with proof of funds needed to make the offer. Have called several FSBO. Any advice for finding homes without risking Earnest Money deposit ??
