Introduction

Hi. I just wanted to make myself known within the forum as I will be posting quite often here. I'm very interested in Real estate as I am just not the type for the 9-5 grind.

That's the story of many here and I'm not claiming to be diffrent. That's the beauty of the forums here, everyone has a commonality.

The action I've taken so far is working with an investor in my hometown in Atlanta for around four months. I got close to putting a couple of properties under contract but they didn't work out.

My situation wasn't the best for investing then but now I'm in a new location, (Bowie, Maryland)and ready to get started. My time is limited with a full time job but I'm ok with that and have a goal to become a full time investor.

The actions I've taken so far was attending an auction Saturday and getting about four people added to my buyer's list. I'm going to be going to as many of those as possible and building my buyer's list nice and large.

I've also purchased Dean's books profit from real estate right now, and be a real estate millionaire and am actively reading profit right now. I'm also here reading information and posting questions quite often.

I do need assistance and have found some great help here. If you see me asking questions or posting don't be afraid to post with some great advice as all information is useful.

I've updated my profile here with some contact info for networking with any Maryland investors, lawyers, etc so feel free to contact me. I have more updating to do there also.

I'm also starting a journal I will update as much as possible, about what I'm doing to keep me on track. I've got vested interest in doing well as I've found the person I'd like to spend the rest of my life with but would like for her to be able to stay home and be a full time wife and mother.

I'd also be fulfilled to be a business owner with me feeling like that's where I'd be happiest. With these things in mind, needless to say I have a very strong desire and drive to become a successful investor.

This was a long post and if you read it up until now thanks haha. I'm glad I've identified myself here officially though as I feel I've ofically began my journey as a real investor.

All help I'm greatful for and good luck to everyone in obtaining the life they want.

Sincerely- T/M

Good Luck As You Begin ...

Your dedication (and motivation) to become a full-time REI are excellent.

As a newbie here, it sounds like your feet are more wet than most of us!

The time you spent in Atlanta with an actual investor will pay off.

Many of us got "here" without even knowing what putting properties under

contract was all about. Sounds like you have a head start !!! Good luck ...
