OfflineHas anyone created an LLC online? Going to open one shortly and I am curious if anyone has created an LLC online. Is it 100% legit? I've been looking at legalzoom.com and I want to know if they are legit and is it really legal to open an LLC through them. My partner and I are in NY. Not sure if we should just go thru lawyer to open one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have started numerous LLC's from legalzoom.com. I am also from NY. I highly suggest it. It is actually cheaper than using a lawyer.
Yeah Legalzoom is legit, Im looking into make one on legal zoom too. They handle all the paperwork and requirements if you dont know how to do it, and its alot cheaper than using an attorney.

Jeremy, I used legalsume also. There is a cheaper way to go also. I can't remember the company off hand ,but my cousin told me they charge around 200 and change and are located in LI. Of course he told me about them after I already spent 800 bucks on legalzume. They have different prices for each package, so look at them and figure out which one suits you guys best.

Legalzoom is legit But i trust my incorps to Garett Sutton (www.sutlaw.com) He is a rich dad advisor as well as a real estate investor. llc's are safer and cheaper in wyoming or nevada. this site will explain why. do yourself a favor and check all the information you can get.
