I'm new to this forum, I got an advert from Dean about the training available with his student Matt Larson. I don't know Matt and when something sounds to good to be true I generally am a septic.
I own a home so I know what is involved in buying and maintaining real estate, one of the reasons I was never attracted to it as a business, although it does present some interesting opportunities for those who know the ins and outs of the business.
Buying and selling real estate as far as I can tell requires a serious full time commitment and training, as it involves areas of law and finance that most people do not posses. I am unwilling to make that commitment at this time, however this wholesale thing sounds like it might be a good fit for me to get started in the real estate market part time.
I have never done a deal in real estate whole sale or other wise, So I am not sure if I am a candidate for Mr. Larson's training as I do not know what is involved, or if I am qualified with no experience. In addition I would like to know a little more about the training, I do work full time and I have commitments after work on certain day's so I need to know what days the training is held and how long the sessions are. I would also like to know if this the complete training course or is this level training where this is would be the first course of a series of course required, in other words should I be able to survive on my own without further assistance from Matt or his team? Anyone who can provide feed back it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thom, Thanks so much for your insight, my current motivation is to leave my current occupation and move into something self sustaining, either a business or something like this. I really do not know a lot about how to get started, wonder if Matt's training discusses the finical aspects of Whole Sale Real Estate, such as how to deal with capital gains, Taxes, or weather or not to incorporate. These are important items that no business is complete without, however no outline of the course has been given. I am hesitant to put 1K on the line for something I know so little about. Have you taken a course with Matt?
Matt is by far the best trainer you will ever learn from, bar none.
With this training there will be Q and A sessions available. However, you could contact a CPA and ask him the accounting questions you listed above. For instance, there is no need to incorporate until you are doing deals.
Do you have a local REI club you could attend? Go there and ask!!
Like Thom stated, you will have to take what you are taught and take MASSIVE ACTION. No trainer can ANSWER All your questions of make it easy for you just by taking the training. With Matt, you will know what you need to know to wholesale and make a ton of money IF you work very hard at it.

If you would like to know exactly what is Matt going to teach on his trainings, I would suggest you go on this site and search for the last live webcast reply Dean did with Matt Larson. He would explain everything thats in the training.

Yes I would listen to the livecasts they did, they emailed them to you I"m sure. You would do well to get that training, I did. Matt is the best trainer on the planet & 1k is frankly not a lot of $.
I wouldn't wait too long it could close down again. The training starts @3pm Thur & will go for the next 3 Thursday's with 2 Q & A sessions after that. INcluded are wholesaling 101 before you start the class Thur & 30 days to RE Cash which is recommended for beginners.
