I'm a newbie just getting started. I did a search through the entire site looking for this topic so hopefully I'm not repeating one.
One of Dean's great recommendations in his book is to have a City wall map to see where hot areas are, cash buyers are buying etc... I had no idea how hard this would be to find. I found a couple but they were really pricey at $400+
I'm wondering if everyone normally just get's a US Map or a State Map because they seem cheaper but much harder to see your specific area.
I appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks!

Many places sometimes give out free city maps such as a local realty office or a chamber of commerce. if you can't find a free map try going to a store like a Wal-mart, Walgreens or a local gas station. They almot always carrry maps you can undfold and display on a wall. Good luck. Believe and Achieve!

I actually found them for $5 at Staples and one is already laminated which is nice, wall size and even great details. Hope this helps others who are looking. I found them back by the furniture in a rack that had tons of maps.

I hope u did have pay $400 for any map....Most city halls and/or your chamber of commerce give them out for free....some hotels do, too. these would local areas....I don't know what areas your looking for, but I hope this helps.
Oh, also the title co. sometimes gives them out.
