I am wondering what others say when and agent ask you how many properties you own, or about your net worth? It seems that our REO agent was looking for how many properties we owned, and questioned me about it. I had already told her that I was new, but I work with a seasoned investor that lives out of state and that we are trying to invest here locally now. I told her I was essentially the boots on the ground. But today, she started with the questions. Help anyone? This is my third agent and everyone of them has always pried into exactly what I am doing and the like. Why is this necessary? How to answer?

If an agent is questioning you that much, then it very well may not be the agent for you. (On a side note, I would respond that I do not feel obligated/comfortable disclosing that information)
My realtor knows I am a wholesaler. He understands what I do, and he is very supportive of that. You need to find an agent who truly is investor friendly like that. It's frustrating, I went through a good handful of agents before finding (being found) by my current agent; however, once you have the right agent they can be very beneficial to you.

"Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning."
