I am starting to get people e-mailing me asking to link to my website. Today one is from a debt consolidation company, debt.org. Maybe the org is okay? They say they are a member of the IAPDA, so maybe okay. I just know that most debt consolidations are a rip off, and wondering about this one? Not sure whether to link with them or not? Tammy

Would you LIKE to be liked with this company? Is debt consolidation something you're interested in or something your clients/customers might be interested in? If so find out what the heck IAPDA stands for, call their number and see if this company is in good standing. Call the BBB and see if there are any unresolved complaints regarding this company (if they are BBB member)s. Just because they ask, you don't have to accept their link. But, if you do link, you are also linking your business rep to theirs, in a way. If they turn out to be scam artists...well, that reflects on your site, too, if one of your customers clicked a link on your site. Just my 2cents.
