OfflineHi DG family. I was speaking with a friend of mine and he told me that he knows a mortgage broker, and his broker has been in that position for a long time. I'm curious to know how benficial this mortgage broker can be to my success... How crucial is the person to have on the team? What do they do and what can they do for us investors? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Alton, A mortgage broker &/or a Mortgage Banker can help find loans for you for a home purchase, or can help your Tenant Buyers as well. If your Tenant Buyer is currently a little challenged for credit (low or bad credit), if you decide to do Lease Options, the mortgage banker can give them free advice on steps to take in order to make sure that when the Lease Option becomes due, that they will be ready to qualify for a mortgage. It's good to have a Mortgage Banker in your team.
