I will be attending my first Edge Event in Vegas this month of August.
Can anyone give me some idea what to expect, what to wear, what to bring?
Are our nights free? Are there things to do around the hotel that we stay at?
Also, anyone want to meet and talk Real Estate with a newbie?

I was at that event two years ago, I liked the event very much, and i especially enjoyed meeting lots of great people. It was also my first time to meet Dean in person.
Dean partnered with a company called property direct. They buy lots of properties, bulk REOs and such and offer those at that event. Depending on what you can spend you choose between "needs lots of work" all the way to "renter in".(www.propertydirectusa.com) Make sure you do your due diligence before you buy.
You are going to pay for your own room ($119.-- when I was there) and yes there are things to do, after all you are in Vegas and I believe Las Vegas is famous for entertainment.
In addition to that you will hear many other speakers and success students.
Just go with an open mind, learn and have fun.

You will learn ALOT. Bring business cards to network, and get ALOT of sleep before you go you will be up LATE and take it all in.
