Hey DG fam, so i go to meet with my realtor to make offers and he is telling me that i NEED to provide a $1000 check for every REO and Short Sale property i make an offer for?? Then he says that when we make offers on "regular" listings we dont need to provide a check when making offers?
Is this right or do i need to tell him what Dean and Matt said in the live video. That once the offers accepted i will provide that check?
Thanks for all your help in advanced
Robert.

Robert,
If your realtor wants a check before he'll submit an offer for you, write a check out to "escrow" and make a copy that he can send with each offer. You don't want to submit a lot of $1000 checks. This should alleviate any issues or concerns that he may be having.
It is also advisable and reasonable to do as instructed by Dean and Matt. You can tell your realtor that you will submit the check once the offer is accepted. That is your call.
If your agent refuses to submit offers using either of these options, find a new realtor.
Good Luck.
Thanks im actually about to go meet with him in a few hours. I will let him know to just make a copy of one check to escrow then submit it with each offer i make.
If he says no then on to the next one! Thanks for the advice again.
