Is Anyone Buying Non-Performing Notes?

I want to learn more about buying non-performing notes, and I would like to know if anyone on this site has any experience doing this; if so, could you provide some information or any good references...
I watched the video of Bell Talmadge's presentation at the Edge 10, which is great, but would like even more info...
