Does anyone know how a person can buy properties using his/her Roth IRA?
Do you have to pay fees? Do you have to go through some companies?
Thanks for any info.

I recently spoke to an agent at ETC equity trust company he has all the info you will need. You must keep your purchases at an arms length.Meaning you can not purchase property for family members and you can not buy a property and live in it.There are several ways to purchase with an ira if you are interested in speaking with etc please contact me and I will pass on his number.

...against a traditional IRA CD & the bank would not allow it. Maybe it's possible with a Roth IRA since it isn't tax deferred. Of course all banks will let you borrow against a standard CD.
When using a roth IRA you will need to roll the IRA over to a self directed IRA. There may be a small fee when doing this and as the IRA is used it will have a fee for the transactions. This would be the same as you are using the roth IRA for stocks.
There are several companies that claim to do self directed IRA's. However, there are really only a few companies that truly do self directed IRA's that can be used for real estate. Equity trust company and Entrust are two of the largest companies that will do this for you.
If you would like the chance to work with me or one of my fellow real estate investor coaches and our advanced training programs, give us a call anytime to see if Dean's Real Estate Success Academy and our customized curriculum is a fit for you. Call us at 1-877-219-1474 ext. 125
Thank you very much. I will contact Equity trust company and Entrust ASAP.
