Why you should work with a partner

This is my personal opinion based on what I have read here on the site and what I have experienced myself.

I have been investing in RE for the past 8 years. I have been doing it with a partner. Up until about a year ago, everything went smoothly and we were riding the wave. Then we stopped seeing eye to eye and basically decided to go our separate ways. I wanted to keep investing or doing something that has to do with RE and I tried to do it on my own. I figured working with a partner is like a marriage, you have 50-50 chance of surviving it.

However, as I learned later, it is much much much much easier to work and get things done when you are working with a partner. The only thing you have to do is find a partner that complements you. A partner that will bring into the partnership something that you don't have while you bring something he/she doesn't. If you read the posts here, most people work with partners, be that husband and wife or just friends, or random people who have met through this site.

I guess the point that I am trying to make is that even if you think that you know everything and getting a partner would only drag you down -- WRONG!!! Even if you know everything, I bet you anything you want, your partner will be able to do something or will know something you don't. So my point is, if you hit a roadblock, or if you think you have had enough and ready to call it quits, consider finding a partner on this site, that lives in your area or close to you and you will see how your perspective changes.
