I found an REO on foreclosure alert that is owned by Countrywide/Bank of America. I can't seem to find a listing agent for it anywhere. I called the owning branch today and left a message about the property, but of course no call back. Maybe tomorrow. In the meantime is there any other way that I may be able to find out about the property? The county tax records can only go so far lol.

Ive been having the same problem. It may be that the property has not made it to the listing agent yet. Banks seem to be fast to foreclose and slow to get these houses back on the market.

I'm kind having the same problem. But i can not get Bank of America to connect me with the right person or even send me a short sale packet. Maybe they are still combining the the two companies or something along that line. The property I'm trying to buy was being foreclosed on by Countrywide, had a sale date and then a couple days before the sale date the owner was notified that it was withdrawn from the sale. That is the last that they have heard. Now this was in March of 2009. Is that about the time Bank of America bought Countrywide?
This property looks like it would be a really good deal if i just talk to the right person so I can make an offer. Can anyone offer some direction or have any suggestions?
