Forclosures fall in 62% of US cities

Here is an article I found interesting. It talks about how in most areas the foreclosures fillings are falling. The hard hit areas are still leading the way with foreclosures and in the larger cities in Florida forclosures rates are on the rise. It also talks about a shift in banks trying to do short sales instead of foreclosing.

Falling

I just went to a real estate expo that showed the banks are not processing the forclosures. They just stopped doing them so they are building up not falling. The numbers just flatlined or dipped a small amount...It will hit hard when the new year starts....But I have said that before too...dang banks

I will be interested

to see what happens to foreclosures once we get through the election cycle. I suspect we might see a huge upswing in foreclosures hitting the market following the election regardless of who is the president. I have a conspiracy theory coach who I sit next to who is certain the foreclosures will flood the market following the election. We will see.
