So finally got a deal locked in, i need to do a title search before i sign the final papers. I been looking around and have not found a strait answer on how to do one with out an agent.
Where would be a good spot to do a title search for a home in MO when i am not working with an agent, i am buying all cash free in clear.

I've seen a lot of these online, go to yahoo search and type title search, it will give you some companies where you can do it online, of course with a fee, I dont' knwo how much the fee is, but consider what your expenses might be if you use other resources like attorney or agent and choose what is best for you. I think online is more convenient as you don't have to deal with others and you can do it on your own.

I would call a couple title companies in that area and ask them how much they charge for just a title search. I don't think they will charge very much, maybe around $100.
