Knocking on Foreclosure Doors

Knocking on Foreclosure Doors

This is probably a fear among many. How does one approach a homeowner that is in the process of being foreclosed on? I want you to share you insight. How did you get the homeowner to connect and trust you? What did you say? How did you get from the porch in the house? How was the conversation? You get were I'm going with this. This is one fear that I have and many others as well, so maybe this could help someone take or break that wall. Thanks to you all in advance for your response. See You At The Top!

when contact a pre-foreclosure, you can do a mailing, phone or knock doors. I think the option you pick really depends on your personality. Personally, the least favorite of mine is phone. These days it's almost impossible to reach them. Mailings are easy, just remember to keep the standard letter short, to the point with a little bit of empathy. Mail in a different color envelope than white and hand address. You can follow that up with a postcard. When doing the direct approach, like I said you have to be a real people person. If I approached them, face to face, I would do it in more of a nieve approach. I would park my car on the road, knock the door and ask them if they, or anyone they know in the area would consider selling. You are looking to live in that area. I find if they want your help, they will speak up.
