For as long as I can remember I have loved selling... I sold cars, insurance, cosmetics, jewelry, clothing... and yes, even real estate. I had always wanted to work in real estate having worked for 2 real estate developers and as a loan officer. However I didn't consider myself a "real" real estate agent because I just had my license hanging in someone's office to keep from expiring... I kept hoping that one day I would make enough money or retire rich (haha) and then I'd have time to be a real estate agent. Not any more... not since reading Dean's books... uh uh.. I'm going to be an investor come hail (or is it hell?) or high water. Whichever... I WILL do it. I let my RE license expire about 10 years ago and have never looked back. I can't believe I ever wanted to be "one of those"... no offense RE agents...just kidding.
I had to take early retirement last July due to some health issues (which do not prevent me from doing REI)and I ordered the books in August. Life's problems got in the way and I started reading them in November I think it was. Since January I have been really getting into the learning mode and want to learn more and more. I can't afford the academy right now but will give it my all to get some deals done anyway! I'm so glad to be on board and all of you have been so helpful so far!!! Thank you bunches.
