OfflineIve been "dabbling" in Real Estate for about 4 years now. My first fix and flip was totally by accident! I purchased the property for someone to live in, spent 3 months fixing it up, but unfortunately (and fortunately at the same time) things didnt work out with said person and I had a renovated property on my hands to deal with. Needless to say, by good fortune, or destiny, it wasnt long till it sold. I doubled my original investment, and since I paid cash for everything I was also in a position to carry the financing for the new owners for 4 years at a very attractive rate of return. I was hooked...now my thinking was if I did this once I could probably do it again, I have, and continue to do so.
My motivation for joining the Dean Graziosi family was to expand my knowledge base as I know times and situations change constantly. Its always nice to be plugged into a system of like minded individuals with up to date knowledge and techniques to work in the existing market conditions. Im a firm believer in the motto "All good things come to those who wait...But only whats left behind by those who hurry" (author unknown). I must admit though, I have drug my feet a little in regards to the opportunities in the US market. Ive been involoved with the DG organization for about a year now and have attended an Edge Buying Summit,and the Inner Circle in LA. Ive invested in notes through Insiders Cash and purchased from Property Direct. All great starts but really just a drop in the bucket to whats possible, and its time to kick things up a few gears.
Im always interested in meeting new people and networking for a mutual benefit. One person definetly cant do it all, and Im pretty much at that point now.
