I do word of mouth(This is where a small town comes in handy)in the Barre area and surrounding towns. Last week I checked into a FSBO(he was over priced and stubborn) even though I brought material;graphs,etc showing the FMV and a CMA from a local realtor, also last week I checked into a foreclosed home by HUD(it gave me the creeps), typically I check into every HUD home that comes my way. I have a friend who drives a small bus, he goes a variety of different ways to get to his destination, he has just notified me of 2 houses that have "white notes" on them; which indicates they have been taken over by a bank/financial institution/etc and weatherized for the winter months, then I take it from there and do my diligent research etc. I told my friend Mark if any of these deals transpire I will give him a finders fee for sure.
