Can you invest with these strategies if you are a RE Agent yourself?

Hi. I have been searching the site for this answer, but can't seem to find it. If you have your RE License (possibly even your Broker's License) can you use the strategies for yourself? I thought it would be okay, but based on a few things I've read it seems there may be some legal ramifications. Just wondering if anyone has any insight on this topic. Not sure if it matters, but I am in California.

So most that go the incorporated route knows, the state loves money.
The state of NY requires that you publish in two Newspapers, one being mandatory
And the other being of your option (according to the list provided by county)

The mandatory newspaper here in New York City is called, The New York Law Journal,
And (this is according to how many lines are required to provide all information related to your LLC to publish) for this paper my original fee was $872 dollars plus a $5 proof read feed

The second newspaper I chose was the Irish Echo this in comparison is relatively inexpensive at only $180 flat fee

Greetings

Howdy,

I'm a new member. I purchased the upcoming training with Matt and Dean and I'm looking forward to working with you all.

About me:

I'm currently a teacher in Japan, I teach English in elementary schools. My contract ends in March, at which time I'll be going back to Canada and start over with nothing.

I have a few business ideas but I intend on working hard on real estate to ensure my family's future.

I wonder how many Canadians are out there. The market is really different in Quebec, where I'm from and I suspect that the laws are also different.

try finding a house under $60,000 and you'll have a hard time.
That is why I'm half thinking about driving South to the border towns and see what's out there. I wonder what are the legal ramifications for that.

Help a Noobie!

Hi everyone! So as the title says I am a noobie! However I have been studying real estate investing for a few years now, and have tried to do things before and got slammed down lol.

Although now I have the opportunity to take the course from Dean Graziosi and that is how I found this website. So I am reading the 30 days to real estate cash book about wholesaling and have been taking action on calling agents and such.

I felt like I was lying because I don't know any investors, I don't have cash behind me and all I have to do is find a property, I don't have money myself, that is why I am starting out wholesaling!
