As real estate investors we are all challenged with continually developing and growing our personal buyers list. Due to the recent downfall of the stock market we currently have a once in a lifetime opportunity to convert stock market investors that have taken a major beating this week, and help them recover their loss by
introducing them to the amazing opportunities that real estate investment provides, especially now when we all agree that the real estate market has bottomed out.It is all of our responsibility to grow the REI business as a whole if we want our personal business to do likewise.I am asking for ideas on how to do this cheaply and more importantly, immediately. We need to get these stock market people to invest in the REI game.

I don't think that anyone who has money invested in the stock market needs a lot of pushin' to invest in real estate instead.
All you have to do is find a great deal and show them the numbers for their roi, and you will have the financing in no time; especially if you do it several times, then your investor will tell his buddies, etc. etc.

This is just an idea though, I have no idea what the legal ramifications of posting something like this on CL is.

To me, trying to convert a stock market investor into a REI or buyer would take too much time. Too bad Dean doesn't have an affiliate program, that would be useful for quite a few people.

you can grab some extra money from stock market investors but it is too hard to get them to fully convert. They always believe that tomorrow will be better, and when it isn't, they want to wait to make up their losses. I've done marketing as high as 18% and even then it is no picnic trying to convert. Your conversion rate does increase if you are talking to someone you know and/or someone who comes from a referral. But don't initial put all your time in this venue as you will be spinning your wheel a lot, unless you have a track record to show your past performance.

Stock investors will be hard to convert if their disciplined. If you buy the right stock you can make a ton just letting the company grow for you. The trade off is it requires plenty of research before you invest much like real estate only without the benefit of leverage.
