I purchased Dean's "Gain The Edge" and thought that was the training course to get started. I must have misunderstood. Although there is valuable information in there it has confused the hell out of me. If anyone can suggest maybe a beginners begining course I would appreciate it.
I have been looking into some properties and have found one that is interesting. I just don't know what questions to ask, Running the numbers all that... But what I have is desire to learn....

John,
Take a look at my guide for beginners below in my signature. That might help out.
Other than that, the best place to start for beginners is Dean's books. He writes them assuming you have little to no knowledge about real estate, which makes it very easy to understand. The intermediate education is found in the courses such as the EDGE, and Insider Elite.
Do you have any specific questions we might be able to help you with? Take a look at my guide and get back to me on this post.
Best of luck!
Dominic

Most newer students hit the same roadblock. You have to figure out exactly what you want to go after in RE. Wholesale, Fix and flip, buy and hold etc. With your background in the business, flips should be right up your alley. Stay on this site and go to the forums and read them. All the questions and answers are in these forums. Set your goals and go after them. Good luck...Jan
Hey John,
Deans book, thirty days to real estate cash, is a great source for information. It is very affordable and will put you on the right track, because everything is tested and proven. You can always get more education later (after you make some money), but if you do what the book says you will make money.
Good luck to you!
Thomas
I am going to follow each of the suggestions.
I did read your beginners guide and really appreciate the info.
