I finally have an RE Agent that I want to use but since I am using assignments as my exit stategy, I would be unable to pay the RE Agent 6% on a deal. Is it unfair to ask the buyer to pay Agent fees on an reassignment deal? Does any one have an suggestions on what you should give an agent on assignment deals?

If you're assigning MLS listed properties, the seller will be paying the 6% for both the listing agent and your agent.
If you're assigning properties that you find in person that are not listed and you're utilizing an agent, you would be responsible for the agent's fee, which shouldn't be 6%, I don't think. Maybe offer some sort of consultation fee?
In Christ alone, I place my trust.
Of course every area is different but if the property is not on the MLS and you found it yourself then the fee that the RE agent should not be more than 3% but you could do maybe a 1% consultation fee. Hope this helps.

Thank you for you help with this! I appreciate it!
Thanks for the info, this clears alot up!
How about if the agent gives you expired listings? How would you compensate them for those if you do a deal on one? I assume if he gave me the listings I have to go through him to contact the owner. Seems agent should be compensated some.
Your thoughts?
Thanks,
Linda

For expired listings, pay them what you would pay a bird dog
Makes sense.
