OfflineWhen I started in real estate I was simply trying to make enough money to pay our debt. I never imagined that my decision to buy Dean's book and take action would change my family for generations to come. I was just simply looking for a way out of my current financial situation, a quick fix to my depleting finances. I wasn't looking for a career in real estate, just utilizing a few strategies that I thought would give me some freedom for the moment.
Little did I know that first taste of financial freedom would get me hooked on the dope of real estate wholesaling...lol As I continued to profit I continued to gain more freedom and more freedom. I sent 4 children to college, provided enough financial security to not only gain total financial freedom but retire my husband.
The most amazing thing that I have accomplished over the past 5 years is that my choice to buy that book and implement those strategies has set my family free for generations to come. That's right! Generations after me will now reap the rewards of my decision that day. I have sent 4 children to college because of that decision and now they are off to become successful adults. My family is debt free because of that decision and now my children will not inherit my debt but instead will reap my profits. I taught my children how to profit from real estate, something they can use for the rest of their lives because real estate will always be a viable way to earn a profit.
This is why it matters that you keep on pushing NO MATTER WHAT! Your chance to set your family free is right now! Your chance to set generations free after you is right now! It matters because there are generations depending on you to stick it out and make it happen!
What if I would have given up when it got tough? What if I wasn't so dedicated and determined to make it to that NEXT deal? Truth is that when I started I just worked on one deal at a time. I did one deal and the profit was so good I immediately began working on another... one deal at a time! I must say not every deal was simple, in fact most of them were difficult to pull together in the beginning. But I stuck it out because whatever choice I made at that time mattered to the future of my family. Now I didn't see it then that I was actually turning the tides of life for generations to follow with every choice but I see it now.
Your choice right now, today, at this moment affects your family for years to come whether you realize it or not. So the choice you make today matters to your children and grandchildren and generations to follow. YOU CAN TURN THE TIDES OF LIFE FOR YOUR FUTURE GENERATIONS! You just have to keep going when it gets tough, hold on when you want to let go and keep on reaching for that dream that you had when you started in this. Whether you choose to keep going or give up REMEMBER that your family for generations to come will be affected by that choice.
It matters because the future is waiting for your choice!

THANKS Carol, this is great! We can all impact so much more then ourselves. Its like Dean said, we can change the world, one person, then one family, etc...at a time. We try to show our kids everything we are doing so they can duplicate it themselves once they decide if its a patch they want to follow. They don't show a lot of interest until we sell something, then they hope to see a benefit, HA HA.
