OfflineI read several post about whether you should take time off over the holiday season. I pressed through.
Closing on a subject 2 deal today that has a little equity but I can rent out for profit and sell later.
Locked up a private deal which my buyer will close on end of month. Receieved 2 more contracts yesterday that were on the MLS that I will have no problem assigning. That is what kicks off a great year !

I wouldn't take the entire winter off, but you should also spend time with family and friends over the holidays. Not too many people are willing to do work over the holidays anyways, so I'm not sure how much you can get done on those days.

Winter may be the best time, as people relax more in the evenings and read papers and go on the internet.
Here in Wis, people love the outdoors and I myself love being outdoors in the snow. But night comes earlier and that may be a good time to get deals done.
Even if I am not overwhelmed for the week, I do take a few hours for myself. Sunday mornings I generally don't like to do business. But have made a few exceptions in the later morning because of someones schedule.
But never take the winter off, as that may be the deals you were looking for.

Hey Dominic ! The subject was taking the winter off LOL not me !
I had read a lot of post from others wondering if they should put signs out etc. over the holidays. I worked even harded through that period thats the only reason my January has been so good ! I was out 12 hrs today showing property and putting signs out... LOL Me taking time off is something you wont have to worry about. Email me soon !
