The lesson: Follow the rockbottom blueprint
and persevere.

I am across the river in Windsor Canada plenty of deals here : I have been out of action with the prop purchased last May: Both tenants have left and Downstairs new tenant moving in Oct 1...Still fixing upstairs unit.Hope to have new tenant in there Nov 1.. Now preparing to find another property for deal # 2.

Congrats to you John.whether you flip it or develop cashflow..It's all good.

Way to go John, it's good to meet you, I was born in Michigan, thank you for the wisdom. I understand it's all about setting aside time to read and dig for all the infor a person can get from Deans plan.Seems like the more I get my mind set as, to how to make time,slam! another demand is put on me. Seeing you tonight has me thinking again. And for that, I thank you.

Dean,sorry I missed your conference call last night the 28th. I was at a Real Estate Investment Club meeting. It was very benificial and I think I found the right Real Estate Agent. I also found 4 Buyers and 2 Real Estate Attorneys, one of which I am probably going to use. I would have loved to hear your conference. Is there any downloads available for those of us that missed your Conference call?

IT IS GREAT what you'be been doing Dean! Going back to Joblin, MO, then creating the RockBottom, giving the house away... and the organization is a fine group of people. Funny how that is. I enteract with NON-DG INVESTORS all the time. It is amazing how they made the success they have at all. I get complemented all the time on the things we take for granted, like BEING FULL SERVICE to the Buyer, BEING THOROUGH and PREPARED! I have a Buyer in Phoenix, a "Capital Fund" that buys and "remodels only. Then they retail only and have people lined up on a waiting list. This fund buy foreclosures mostly.

I found them by chance. After checking out two properties they floated before it was scheduled to be Remodeled (they float them for about 2-4 weeks before remodeling starts). I made an offer accordingly. BuT in checking them out, I took my Contractor and my R/E Agent. I talked to the Seller on a Tuesday, we checked them out on Wednesday morning and I had an offer on the table for one of them by Thursday morning. I was 100% prepared (nervous because I had not closed a deal yet), organized and NEW MY BUSINESS! He liked me, TOLD ME AND COMPLEMENTED ME ON BEING PREPARED (full service as you & Matt told us about in a past Webinar) and lowered to the price to help me "do your first deal!" I was NOT able to get it done (only 22% under FMV/ARV) BUT HE TOLD ME THIS, AND LISTEN UP OUT THERE: He said he and his firm find their own properties; the THEY NO LONGER look at Phoenix based Investor's because they don't come to to them FULL SERVICE and it wastes their time, BUT, I WILL LOOK AT ANYTHING YOU HAVE ANYTIME. AND EVEN THOUGH WE DO NOT TAKE ASSIGNMENTS, WE'LL TAKE THEM FROM YOU if it meets our criteria (which I have now).

I have not taken him a deal, but I HAVE TAKEN HIM OUT TO LUNCH 2X and he and his wife like the blues, so he came to work one morning and had 4 tickets to THE RHYTHM ROOM here in Phoenix and Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers on his desk (the reputed Finest Harmonica player on the planet in Blues today; I had arranged it with his secretary/Assistant; something I learned in another professional life in Advertising).

All because of your Training. It is a superior program. I have a partner now who is getting involved with DG and he's been doing this 5+ years, and he's seeing through me how well trained we are and his own holes in his through another R/E Teacher... I know who that is and he and the other cannot hold salt.

Still working through my ups and downs but refuse to give up. Making alot of mistakes but you do learn from them. Taking action everday leads to success. Deans the man.

Ok I figure I can follow these instructions but if I'm not good with the numbers, then what? Will anyone help me to get past this roadblock and keep moving?
That concerns me the most. Right now I'm trying to get those instructions printed out and read over to follow (Matt's script) and the other ones for download.
God only knows I need this not only for myself, but to help other investors along the way. Oh, and I can use a first house and wonder how to exactly go about it if not from getting paid in the middle completing deals, and saving enough for a down payment and pay monthly on it or outright buy for cheap.
So once that is taken care of, I'm going to do this.
Also congratulations John for winning the free house from Mr. Dean Graziosi and I can see how big, nice it is from the outside. Great video!!

The give away was very inspirational,and inspires me to learn how to fix-up my house.

I have read the books and started out excited and lost the excitement. After seeing this I am getting my books back out and rereading and seeing what I can do.

These stories speak in volumes about Dean being for real to help many succeed . Great for John getting his rewards for watching video's and having a little faith , now it's my turn Dean !!!!!!!

Just as he said it - follow the blueprint and never give up. . .Take action!

I believe that the lesson of the video is to inspire people not to give up on thier dream. Yes John constantly repeats that he won his house simply by watching fours videos, but that is not the case. John also mentioned that he had previously ordered Deans book and was forced to return it by his girlfriend (someone that he loved deeply, and obviously valued). He was discouraged by his loved one, but had the mental fortitude to give his dreams another chance. Had it not been for his second effort, John would have gotten a chance to win his house. Congrats John for not giving up on your dreams, and for giving your dreams a second chance.

Just get out there and DO! Congratulations John.
You got out there, watched the four videos... you could have decided NOT to watch them! But instead you were a DOer!!

That is the main message to me in this video. We all have obtacles and can allow them to distract, detain, derail... key is to get back up and DO... move toward the goal again. Even John bought the book, returned the book, bought the book again!! He got up and kept going.

It's truly a mindset, mind game, the battle is in the mind. We make it harder than we need to and THANKS TO DEAN... we are learning to get beyond our lack of knowledge and grow and go!

I am a firm believer that "Success is Reserved for the Persistent". You need to develop an attitude that when ever you encounter a problem, you will find a solution . You may have to go Over, Under, Around or straight through it! You need to "Persist 'til You Succeed" and succeed you wil.
