MY (1st) COMMERCIAL DEAL-!!

Hi DG Family, it's been a while since my last post. I've been going into other markets lately such as: putting out Yellow Letters, Postcards, and still putting out my Bandit Signs when I'm able to. I am also doing my internet marketing as well as working on Bidding on HUD properties.

Recently I've come across an Absentee Owner who lives in Florida that owns an Industrial Warehouse Building here in Minnesota.

The Building is occupied by a business that pays their own expenses and Cash Flows $11,000/mo. Also, 30,000sqft, newly rehabbed, new additions, 2 docks, burgler systems, new parking lot w/lines, water-sewer hooked to city everything is up to code. Taxes paid up and all looks good.

Seller is stating that he is almost 80 yrs. old and ready to sell.

MY CRASH

I had the most dreadful week ever in the HISTORY of my REI Career/Business. My year old laptop that I got for Christmas CRASHED on me last week and I lost EVERYTHING.

Family pics, all my doc, contracts, and my whole life is now floating out in cyberspace somewhere. It is going to take me another year to get back to where I was. NOW WHAT am I to do?

Thought about throwing in the towel and calling it QUITS. I guess all things happen for a reason. Maybe this is another obstacle. No backup was saved. Didn't think I'd need it for a new laptop, boy was I wrong,,,

ATTTORNEY GENERAL, REAL ESTATE COMMISSIONER, 2 DEPUTIES, and 2 BROKERS!!

Is there anyone other than myself that is getting so many calls from sending out those YELLOW LETTERS, such as myself?

I'm to the point where I just want to (SCREAM)!!! First I was accused of impersonating a Broker, then I was accused of targeting the elderly, also the Commissioner calls me and puts me under investigation, finally dropped.

Two Deputies call and I am wondering if this is just another OBSTACLE that I have to endure. Two Brokers called me, I told them "For the Record, I don't buy Listed properties".

The latest, the Attorney General sends a letter to my PO Box Asking for a written letter within 10 days explaining where I'd obtained a Homeowners information. duh,, it's Public information..

I did obtain the INHERITANCE LIST from a list source co.

Are YellowLetters Cursing Me?

It's now been a couple months since I've been utilizing Yellow Letters. As of today I've gotten another call from the Attorney General stating that another homeowner felt that there was something Suspicious about this letter. Lord Blessed and Save the Saints! What is it with these people? All I'm trying to do is help them.

When at first I sent the letters out I recieved two call from two Deputy's feeling concern that I was targeting the elderly. (The Inheritance List). A couple of weeks later, The Commissionor, I asked them all if I was doing something wrong, they all tell me No, so why do they keep calling me, if I'm not doing anything wrong?

MY Answer About Getting an LLC

Just my opinion, I received a message from the State Department of Ecommerce one day after putting fyer's out at the MOA here in Minneapois, MN.
(Mall Of America). I had my business name on my flyer's and he called my google voice number that was on the flyer.

EVERYBODY USE GOOGLE VOICE, or MAGICJACK if you're just starting out.

Well, anywho, the man asked me, if I had a business by that name. I said to him that I was in the process of starting a REI business, and what could I do for you, I asked. He told me that he couldn't speak to me unless I read a disclaimer that he wanted to email me. I gave him my email address, but not intentionally, I gave him the wrong one. I called back the next day and asked again."What is this pertaining to?
