Well the past 2 days have been a blur.
A lot of stuff happening. I'm hoping that some of it pays off because it's taking so much of my time that I still haven't finished the first fishing lure. Truthfully, I am more excited about all the RE things that are happening that it's making it hard to concentrate on my other JOB. This tells me that the end of my lure biz is near if I don't make some kind of arrangement to get lures made. Time to put my management skills to work for real.

Okay, RE stuff:
NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK!!!!!!!!!
If you are not networking, you are surly missing the boat. I mean you are on the shore waving at the people on the boat that's in the middle of the lake.

Wow, it's been so long since I posted that I almost forgot how.
I could give you all a whole bunch of excuses why I haven't posted but the truth is, I'm still not 100% from my bronchitis episode so I have a tremendous lack of energy. As I sit here typing this, I am still hacking away so I've been avoiding taking phone calls or skyping anyone (Mark K Eye-wink ) It sucks to be old and sick. I'd prefer to just be one, either one!
Ok, enough crying!

Here's what little I have been doing:
I have been checking this site daily.
I contacted another DGer about FL property.
I forwarded an opportunity to a fellow DGer (just today) to give her either a great opportunity or a chance to get some real world practice doing a deal.

There is a saying that "No good deed goes unpunished" and I got mine.
It's hard to work the way I have too and stay healthy. I do it by staying away from people as much as possible. (I know, that's not the way to be a successful RE investor.) However, when the friend needs to see the DR., I have to take her (for reasons too complicated to get in to here.) I was at 2 different DR's offices last week and now have been in bed for the past 4 days with a severe case of Bronchitis coupled with a case of Laryngitis to boot. My world has come to a complete stand still and I hate it!

Wow, I can't believe 6 days have gone by and I haven't posted/ blogged.

A lot has been happening in these past 6 days. I have been working feverishly on doing my inventory and yearend bookkeeping for my lure biz while meeting with local investors, doing property searches, doing area searches, marketing for buyers for my house under contract, posting to some threads, reading new entries to my bookmarked threads, answering PMs and emails, just to mention a few things I've been doing.

Happy New Year everybody.

A lot to tell with not a lot of time so...
Here's the short version:
My local house under contract will probably be a bust. I haven't heard from some of my buyers list but the heavy hitters have all declined.

The Denver house deal MM wrote about is falling apart as I write. Apparently there is some zoning issues and tenant issues that might kill this deal. I do have another buyer but don't have a great vibe about this one anymore.
Still waiting on an answer to house #s 2 & 3 to MM.

Started mapping out where to look for vacation homes for MM locally and will be going there personally next week to check the areas out.

Listened to 2 webinars the past few days and read more threads and posted to a few.

Well it's been about a week since I posted and I'm sure everybody's been wondering "What's going on with AndyS?" Well okay, maybe not everybody Laughing out loud

So here's the rundown:
This has been a very busy week for me once again. I had another lure order I delivered to Miami yesterday ( my fiscal year ends 12/31)so I've been bustin' hump and doing RE as well. I'm going to skip the daily bits other than to say that I check my emails, PMs and bookmarked threads at least 2-3 times a day, every day. Today I even posted to a couple of threads. There just hasn't been enough hours in a day to do everything I need to get done. (I'm sure you all feel that way as well.) What I did get done was amazing.
