Captains log - Entry 9

Today I woke up very confident.

Many times, you don't see the monetary fruit of your labor until down the road. At the EDGE even this year, one of the speakers talked about how the average time to see the work of your hands in 30-90 days. You will, on the average, reap the benefits of work you did 30-90 days before.

I kept looking at all of the things I had not accomplished yet instead of looking at the things I have done. It's important to look forward, but many times, I forget to look back and remember all of the work that I have put into my business.

While I am not a millionaire yet, I have been doing the steps that Dean and Matt have given us. I have made many many calls to build a buyers list. This week, I think I actually have a good start to a meaty buyers list. I still need to qualify them, but last week I was too discouraged to even call to find buyers. I have a real estate agent and multiple teams and crews in my back pocket so that I can be a full service wholesaler.

So today I remembered that I have made progress. I don't have the check in my bank account yet, but I have been making progress. And that should be enough to keep pushing me until I have that first check. It's going to feel so great.
