Day 80:
Spoke with some new DGers and answered some questions for them. Some interesting partnership ideas came about which we will see if they pan out.
Besides that, I posted to a few forums and answered my PMs.
Attended another webinar by Greg H then called it a night. Didn't even have the energy to do my dailies.
Day 81:
Heartbreak and frustration ruled most of today. The short sale firm I was going to use never got back to me so I called again today to find out what's happening. They turned me down because it was too far out of their investment area. Thankfully, I started making calls earlier in the day trying to line up other companies just in case the outcome became what it became. HINT: ALWAYS think ahead!!!
I spoke with the sellers about the situation and had a real heart to heart face the truth conversation with them about their situation and what it might take to resolve it. I believe I opened their eyes to some realities that weren't aware of. I left it with them thinking about what I said before moving on to my next option for them. HONESTY PAYS. Not always in money but in satisfaction. I will sleep well knowing I told them the right things.
I also called some management companies I knew of from my local REIA group for the other seller. I need to give him a call tomorrow to discuss the options. I'm hoping to get a finder's fee if he goes with the companies I suggest to him.
The rest of the night was filled with another webinar by Whitney,
Reading some posts, posting in some as well
Answering some emails from fellow DGers
and doing my dailies.
I'm beat! that's it! I have to close my eyes for a while. ( I believe most of you call it sleep. I just call it taking a nap.)
