An honest worker. I make simple and complex websites from the ground up. I'm very talented in what I do as it's what I studied and have been doing for many years now. I often take up jobs on Craigslist and the like to make ends meet. I recently took one up from a fellow member here. He was very impressed with my work and said so in his letters/e-mails. He asked for new features after another, and I did so accordingly because I promised a decent compensation in return. In the very end, he stopped replying to me and never sent the promised check.

Now, I worked with a partner on this as I told him. He agreed and so I paid my partner to work with me. Seeing as the member from here that hired me never paid me, I became in debt. Not just with my partner, but many other things of my regular life because of the time and efforts that I put solely into this website for him. Weeks if not months later, he replies saying that he found someone else. Right, no problem as long as I get paid for the work I did. I mean, it's not like he didn't like it or wasn't what he asked for, right? He absolutely loved it the whole time I was creating it and I have proof of his satisfaction. In the end, he threatens to sue me if I keep contacting him about what I should get paid.

I mean, I'm not asking for the complete amount (over $20k), but simple enough to get out of debt (around $5k or slightly less), and in return I will give him the complete website that I was hired for. This is like a huge discount for him because times are hard for me and I need to do whatever I can to keep my family's lifestyle.
