OfflineMichael McKee, I am happily married for 10 years with 5 children. I am a Systems Analyst/Programmer that has always wanted to get into real-estate to build a diversified income and retirement. My latest drive however is to pay for gymnastics lessons for my three oldest. Two of the three have reached intermediate level at an accelerated pace and were very excited about continuing this fall. However, when we went to enroll, the cost for this term was beyond our current budget. So, my first goal is: I want to make enough monthly income from real estate investing so we don’t have to worry about the cost of tuition for their gymnastics.
My second goal is to build our retirement so I can retire when I choose.
My third goal is to replace my income so I can be with my wife and kids more and to have the budget to afford to do some of the nice things we dream about.
My fourth goal is to be able to give more money to the many worthy causes I currently give or plan to give.

Glad to have you as a member here on Deans board. We are all like one big family here. We help each other with our RE problems and cheer each other on. I have done lots of cash deals since I started. It is pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Just read everything you can here on the board and ask questions to the members who have been here a while and the one who have done lots of deals. You will learn quickly from them. That is what I did in the beginning is ask lot of questions and read everything. All my best to you.
