I feel like giving up almost every day, in fact. Not all day, of course, but there are moments. My bet is that you have those moments, too. If you're the kind of high-achieving, goal-oriented person you're probably used to running into obstacles. Professional obstacles, personal obstacles. Most of the time, we deal with the obstcles by perservering. Sometimes we get discouraged and turn to inspeirational writing, like stuff from Vince Lombardi:Quitters never win and winners never quit." Bad advice. Winners quit all the time. They just quit the right stuff at the right time. And once you understand the common sinkhole that trips up so many people you'll be one step closer to getting through it.

Currently happening in Washington State, Spokane County, are the new property tax assessments and they posted on their website that the values would be low. What they didn't say was that the properties would be devalued, some by as much as $10,000 per home. So here you have a bunch of homeowners attempting to sell their homes either FSBO or Broker/Agent and they have an over valued home that has actually decreased in value. If there are any other folks up my way in and around Spokane WA look me up so we can go hunting; for homes that is...I need a mentor and a financial backer. Some encouragement would be nice too.

This past weekend my girlfriend and I went to a RE seminar. This was the worst experience I have had since I got into real estate. For three days we sat in a convention room, listen to the speaker treat every one horribly. She was extremely rude, arrogant, down talking every one. Every time we went on break, I would hear the people in the halls and the elevator complaining about how rude the speaker was. Treating every one like stupid children and talking to them like they were ignorant.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- It's prime time for house hunters. Nearly anyone with a decent job and a good credit score can afford to buy in their home towns.

More than 72% of American families making the nation's median income of $63,800 a year, could afford to buy a home during the first three months of 2010, according to a report from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and Wells Fargo (WF).

The national median home price for the quarter was $175,000.

I've read several posts where there are some people who feel that they want to quit. Well for one thing, Real Estate is a tough business. We run into tons of "know it all" Realtors who think because you're a newbie that you have no business trying to invest. Then you get friends and well meaning family members who beat you down and make you feel like giving up.

News reports have's no clue whats real going on in the world today, guest come on talk there so called export about a topic, all they talk about how bad the market is has a long away to come back....

I guess, they don't report on the good news out there, and if they do, is only like 5 seconds, and back to the bad news, and they want do know WHY there losing views left and right, i can give a clue...hint hint...

And the news reporting talk jobs lose is up, i say!!! Because there moving to the internet and make more money then they did at there dead end jobs...

There's no job lose, people are getting bored with a boring bosses that under pays employees, and empolyees are saying NEXT!!! Theres a better offer on the table....byeee!
