Hire a real estate broker to sell your home, and one of the first things he'll likely suggest is hosting an open house so that potential buyers can casually check out your property on a weekend afternoon. But while open houses are promoted as a great way of finding a buyer, a National Association of Realtors study found that their success rate is a mere 2 to 4 percent.

Bank of America is giving cities, not private buyers, the inside skinny on new foreclosures.

Alt-A and Option ARM resets??????

The question is... What are the best strategies for the next 2 years?

I guess there is a second question.... Since this period of time seems to be a buy and rent period for investors, how do we know that we wont be left holding a bag of empty rentals due to rents being to high for all these poor foreclosed individuals? (It makes me nervous when I hear the potential havoc that the economy may cause in 10' and into 11')

Government crackdown on Mortgage scams

Hi everyone! Im sure many have seen the News about the
Government crackdown on Mortgage scams.

Im wondering if this has anything to do with purchasing real estate today. Im new at this and I want to know if this will affect purchasing foreclosures.I would like any or all input on this subject if any of you know about it.
