respose from craigslist ad; advice on how to respond?
I wasn't sure what to put in a ghost ad after reading some of the forum topics here so I combined some of the advice and came up with this:
"I am a wholesaler and I have a unique marketing strategy and a nack for buying properties cheaper and better than anyone else around can. I am looking for investors/cash buyers to invest in properties priced below FMV as they are locked down."
and I got a response today:
" Good Morning,
I may be interested in some of these. Please email me what you have.
Thanks,"
I don't have any properties at this point. I am looking for cash buyers first that is why I didn't do a typical ghost ad. I didn't want to be caught posting something that wasn't 100% true and getting bagged on it.
My question is; how should I answer this?
My thought is to send an e-mail and tell him that I usually look for what people are requesting and then send them the info on it. There are so many properties out there that I am looking for more buyers. Tell me what you are looking for and I should be able to send you some great deals. Thanks.
Again, I don't want to be discovered as being new and fishing on the internet. Does anyone think this response sounds legit and/or do you have any advice?
