I recently received a PM that asked about a deed restriction from banks.
The restriction says that the property cannot be sold for 60 or 90 days.
The question was whether or not there is a way around this.
The most obvious way around this is to put in the offer that you send to the bank that the deed cannot be restricted. If the bank agrees to this they cannot restrict the deed.
If the restriction is on the deed keep in mind that it usually takes 30 days to repair a property and 45 days to get the property to sell and 30 days to close. By this time you would have passed your deed restriction anyway.
