We've spoken with over a dozen RE agents since joining RBBP on Aug 5th...everyone of them were friendly and willing to work with us. However, not one of them in the past, now or ever wanted to invest in real estate...EXCEPT ONE. That one said they had rentals in the past...but..."Life is too short!" That kinda blew us away, because we're wondering what asset classes are they investing their earnings...if any?
A few said they currently work with investors and those are the agents we are considering.
Anyway, how important is it to have an agent who actively/currently owns rental properties??? I know it's all relative, but am interested in others who might have RE Investors as RE Agents.
