I had the great opportunity to travel with Greg Murphy on a training meeting. Greg often used the words can or want.
A way to look at real estate is what you want to do and what you can do. You may want to flip properties by purchasing them, fixing them then resell them to retail buyers. However, some situation would set up what you can do. Maybe you do not have the financing to back you or you do not have the financing from yourself for the down payment this would put you in the can. What can you do? Assignments of contract, lease options, or other creative financing options.
The questions is what CAN I do with what I have? Every student of real estate can purchase, sell, assign or work with real estate. EVERY STUDENT. You have the ability to make money to change your life you may need to separate what you can and what you want. Sometimes what you can will become your want as you find the checks that come.
