I had an agent I had wanted to work with, but she ended up being to busy to help, and I don't think she really understood all of it. So I had decided to go on without a real estate agent, and I have been submitting offers on my own, and not doing to bad at it I guess because I have been laughed at for my low offers, and I must have been doing something right because I had numerous counters from a banker that owned a property I was interested in.
Well I knew someone ( I have known him for 2 years )that was a realtor, but I never thought of asking him. My husband suggested I ask him, and I am glad I followed his advice. Not only does he know alot about investing, but he happens to be an investor, and he has a multitude of buyers from accross the country. He has several types of properties available to me from reos to owner financed and land contracts. He joined my team this morning, and I already have about 30 properties available for assigning, or some for land contract. I just put in an offer on an owner financed option. I will find out what the seller says tomarrow.
Everyone out there that is looking for a perfect fit for a realtor, don't give up, you will find the right one for you. Don't just settle either. If the one you have isn't working out, keep looking for one that fits your needs. I happened to find a real go getter. He was still sending me available properties at almost 2 in the morning.
