Hi DG Family!
My name is Jeff Glidewell in Omaha, Nebraska and it's been a while since I've been here but these past few months I allowed my enthusiasm to drop to a very dangerous low. I'm back now asking for help. I'm just grateful that there are people here who understand the principles of how God blesses us when we bless others in need.
I've had Dean's books, this website, YOU folks and all the tools of this program at my disposal since April 2009 and I still haven't done a deal. I've been so caught up with 'getting caught up' that I completely lost my focus. Well, I'm back in the saddle... and wearin' a seat belt!
I am currently working from 4:30 pm to 4:30 am, Monday thru Saturday and a daily appointment from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. I still have no transportation to make, and keep, appointments with the various people with whom we need to communicate in this field (sellers, bank reps, RE agents, etc...) and the public transit system in Omaha doesn't understand the concept of following a schedule. So, between working, sleeping, and spending time with my six daughters (usually on Sundays) you can imagine I have precious little time to learn and practice REI in the conventional person-to-person manner during 'normal business hours'.
I have now vowed to make my current financial status and my childrens' futures my top priorities. I have spoken with a rep at the Success Academy and they have agreed to work with me on their scholarship program but that won't begin until June 11. That's why I'm asking everyone if any of you have any knowledge or experience to share about how I can begin to make REI a reality in my life using the internet exclusively. I know this can be done, somehow, but I need to find a mentor who has done it for themselves and is willing to share with me how they have been successful with this method. Any information, suggestions or direction you have to offer, no matter how trivial it may seem to you, will be greatly appreciated. I know that this request will lead me to the answers I seek. Please feel free to PM me any time. Thanx for reading and understanding. I'm looking forward to meeting many more members of my DG family and possibly being involved in future deals with you.
