Hi every body.

In the state of Missouri,when it comes to"Tenants In Common", what has been Your experience at closing....any problems?

I recently had an issue where the seller bought his home and put his father on the title with him. That was not a problem. What was, was the fact they did not put " TENANTS IN COMMON ", on the title after their names ...and the father past away.

Now, I'm told the relatives all have to sign off on the property. This is with a simply affidavit - states the brother(s) and/or sister(s) have no claim to the father's portion of interest to the property. I get it. But, in there lies the problem.....

What if the siblings do not get along?....Or one them played the roll of "Power of Attorney" and now will not let the other siblings see the will?

Is there a way to find out what attorney wrote it out?

Just wanted to know if anyone, in Missouri has had something like this happen, and what went on.
